This is probably what I looked like.
If I can stop laughing I've got to tell you all a story. I found a perfect way to get woken up. It all started this morning when I woke way too early, it was approximately 3:30 am, I knew the moon was almost full so I wanted to get some pictures of it. So the first thing I did was pour me a little coffee and step outside to see where it was. Mind you, it's very early, and I'm not completely awake... Well, I opened the door, looking up to the sky and the moment I stepped out, someone said "Good Morning!"
I nearly had a heart attack! It sounded to me like they were just inches away from me! I screamed a little scream and and heard someone start laughing. Then I recognized the voice, it was my next-door neighbor. She usually works nights, and was home tonight for some reason. This is the first time in the six years I've been here and the numerous times I've gone out in the middle of the night that I have ever heard or seen anyone else! Needless to say, I wasn't expecting anyone to be out there, let alone speak to me.
It's a good thing I hadn't brought my camera or my coffee with me, because I'm sure I would have dropped them!
Of course after the initial shock, we started laughing uncontrollably, I had to grab a close-by trellis to keep me from falling over. Good grief, someone my age shouldn't have a shock like that!
It's now been almost an hour and my blood pressure still hasn't slowed down, *grins* and to top it all off, the moon had already set! I came back in once I had got my wits about me, looked up the moon charts and it set just a few minutes before I stepped out. So I'll have to try this again tomorrow. Dang, I hope she's not our there again... but if she it, I'll be ready for it.
Here's a video to go along with my story, you might want to lower your speakers because it's kind of loud.
