This week, Mack, a 6-year-old Rottweiler, and his master are preparing for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach, something Schuster said is the Olympics of dog obedience.

This is the second year the pair has qualified to compete in the national championship.

"Mack is ranked as the number one Rottweiler in competition obedience in the country," Schuster said. "And, he is the ambassador for his breed."
