Because I get so many questions of what I have done to a picture, I wanted to show you what I'm starting with and what the results are when I'm done. I really don't do very much to any photo I shoot. I possible do a little cropping, most times I will edit the contrast just a bit for a sharper picture and most times I increase the saturation just a smidgen for richer colors. Each of these touch-ups are available to anyone wanting to do them in nearly all photo editing software that comes with your camera and there are numerous down loadable programs available if your software doesn't have it.
First I will show you what the scene looks like during the day. I really have a limited view, between the parking lot and the building next door. But at least in the evening the buildings disappear pretty much.

Next I will show you a sunset picture untouched. Notice you can see the security lights for the parking lot.

Next one I'm showing has been edited using the clone tool to remove the security lights.

This is my final edit. It's what I would be proud to show anyone. It has had the contrast and saturation increased just a bit. Notice how the colors in the clouds seem to jump out at you now.
