Hooray! It really is Spring around here and I can tell because the Goldfinch are molting and showing off their new colors! All winter they have had some really dull and not very spectacular colors, but the last few weeks have changed that. I just love these pretty little birds and am blessed with quite a few that come to my feeders.

Another sign of Spring around here is the grass has been growing like crazy! They even mowed here yesterday, that's one smell I love, fresh cut grass, especially when I don't have to do the cutting!
