Well it's all over now but the telling of the tale's. Scott (Scoop) Butki has flown the coop with his ducks in tow. He arrived yesterday in the middle of the afternoon without even a call for directions! His map masters have been doing a fine job for him and he had no problems what so ever finding my place. I had been expecting a call from him when he got close and when the phone rang I was all prepared to provide details on how to get around some of our road construction here in town and his only question was which apartment is it? I look outside and there he was!
I met him with my camera ready and caught him right away, what you can't see is he has his camera pointed at me at the same time! Dueling cameras, if you will... Well we got through the introductions and he parked and proceeded to gather the necessary accouterments, computer, camera, and of course the ducks and came inside.
The picture taking commenced then it was on to the computer for Scott! Unfortunately I don't have wi-fi , so we had to share my computer. Which is something I've never had to do before. It was just a little strange to hear those keys clicking to someone else's fingers. But we managed fairly well if I do say so myself. We did have one hiccup when we had a storm blow through and I requested he get off line for a while until the lightening passed. Luckily the storm didn't last long and the computer work resumed.
All in all, Scott is a very gracious guest and not too annoying....*smiles* I think we had a real nice visit and I hope he had a pretty good night's rest on my couch. We arose early this morning, had breakfast and he packed and left to get back on the road. Map in hand with directions to the next stop on the adventure.
Scott, I hope you had a nice time here and have a very safe trip the rest of your way!
