I arrived here at Newsvine in February 2007.

Maybe it's time for me to let you see what I have been doing here.
I have not written many articles but I feel some of the seeds I have posted here are important, some are just funny! I will start off with my articles

The first thing I wrote was a question about my conversation tracker. Thankfully those problems have been fixed since then,

My next attempt was a declaration of how much I like snow.

Following that was my proud announcement that I had received the Lifetime Achievement Branch on my Vine.

I also wrote of my Newsvine Gift Swap participation and the gift I received.

So far that has been the extent of my articles.

However, I have contributed lots of seeds that I feel have benefited the community. Also some that have not, but I feel deserve honorable mention.

I live in Springfield Missouri and like to submit things of local interest such as what the weather is doing. We have had several events such as -Ice storms, tornadoes, and more tornadoes!

We also have a wonderful zoo here and this year we had our share of problems with out elephant breeding program. Our baby elephant died of herpes and there was some
controversy surrounding this unfortunate event.

We have an abundance of wildlife in Missouri and I enjoy posting articles about feeding birds, bird feeder pests and species descriptions of House Finches, Juncos, Woodpeckers and the Snow Goose.

Also seeds about Missouri cave inhabitants, Coyotes,and the Wild Horses in our area. I have posted dog and cat stories too numerous to list.

We also have our share of strange things going on around here, such as the Joplin Spooklight the Beaman Monster and the guy that robbed the Adult Novelty store!

I can only hope you have enjoyed this retrospective of my first year here a Newsvine. It has been such a pleasure to spend time here!
